The Fashion District was fun but beware, it's not as safe as it was 9 years ago when we last went. Also, it's next to impossible to find a restroom. We finally found one but had to pay for it. I don't think we will go back because downtown LA is kinda dangerous and the homeless population is out of control. We never went out after dark at all.

From 5 meters up, Art Deco style buildings of astonishing beauty in total decadence, below, on the pavements, unfortunately, scenes of ordinary madness and social discomfort. We are used to seeing certain images only in B-series horror films. A real shame for such an architecturally beautiful area!
