This is the ABSOLUTE WORST company ever. They dont even answer the phone. They had an office in down town LA and its been shut down since stupid covid. The customer service is 0. I had to leave a star to be able to write a review unfortunately. There is NO ONE to talk on the phone. I had an issue with my policy and each time i was waiting as much as 35 minutes and even 50 minutes.. I gave up.. California fair plan is the most disgusting and piece of st company there is.. I am soooooo frustrated with them after 11 years of giving them business. There is no management, no supervisor no ownership.. very disgusting comp.

Horrible service. I have been trying to speak to someone from the company for over a week. The last 3 times I was on hold for over 4 hours, only for the automated system to hang up my call. Why is it so difficult to speak to someone.

Frustrating, disappointing, somewhat maddening experience. Every year I dread insurance renewal season. I've been through the same thing everyone else mentions: sitting on hold for an eternity, just to have a rep tell me that he (and other phone reps, per his statement) cannot actually make any changes to policies or help with policy quotes. I was told to email a specific address, which I did, only to not hear back. I was told to go ahead and pay the (very high) premium and that my coverage would be adjusted as requested and the difference refunded. Exactly 0 of these things have happened. OF NOTE, our insurance broker has told me repeatedly that they can NOT manage CA FAIR Plans, so it's particularly obnoxious for FAIR Plan to suggest you "ask your insurance broker" instead of contacting them.

Worst Insurance company ever. They do not care about anything but money. Your new policy will not go under review for more than a month, all they said is that they are super busy ALL THE TIME. Customer service representative can not help with you for anything, they don't have authority for anything and all they can do is check the status which you can do it online. They are also super rude. I kept calling to see if our new policy went under review and the lady at customer service kept asking me why I didn't pay the old one yet...? seriously?? because I renewed it and change it and wanted to take that in effect, that is the only reason I kept calling. I am sure they this they are allowed to be this rude, disorganized and delayed because all of their customers have CA Fair Plan because they don't have any other choice. And they do not cover anything they deny all the insurance claim you submitted
