Residence Inn by Marriott Beverly Hills

Editing this review bc the renovation is finished. You cant beat the location, top notch service and nice rooms. The friendly staff make a huge difference when traveling with small children.

Great hotel to stay for business. A few local places to eat with walking distance, quiet in the evening. Good place to explore from if I come on personal time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hertz rental in the garage. The rooms were great. King bed studio apartment style a comfortable and useable couch sitting area. Very nice. The bar/restaurant was not open. Too bad as that would have been great. Smart TV on a rotating stand, mini-kitchen, floor to ceiling windows for great light and nice views on various sides. Definitely stay again. Rooms: Very comfortable bed, couch and table chairs. Super clean great job by the room staff! Great space to rest and work in. Walkability: locally owned restaurants within walking distance Noteworthy details: Laundry onsite. Very helpful

Marriott turned their large rooms into "suites" by dividing the space with a wall & a door. The result is a cramped bedroom with no furnishings for luggage or personal belongings. No dresser. No room in the closet to hang clothes AND have access to your suitcase, which we used the top of the safe for. No room for a chair in the bedroom, unless you count the toilet with the lid down. I guess you can sit on the bed because who wants comfortable back support in the bedroom. Only two low back chairs in the dining area for the entire suite. That's it. One of them had food stains in the upholstery. There is no desk, besides the small 30 inch diameter dining room table, for setting up a laptop to do any work. The bedroom and suite are dysfunctional for their advertised purpose. The refrigerator is larger than other places, & the only way to heat your food is with the microwave. No stovetop available. The water pressure in the kitchen sink was nice. The mass produced prepackaged egg & cheese breakfast sandwich is dismissal. The other breakfast items are typical for a low budget effort, but adequate to get you out the door. The staff is well trained and puts forth an earnest effort to help and assist guest. From the custodial staff to those working the front desk, everyone has a very positive & friendly attitude. The lobby and dining areas are clean and modern. Rooms: Cramped and small. Barely room to walk around the bed.
