Unpleasant surprises: 3 nights stay
Overall experience: unlikely return
PROS: proximity to LAX, steps to car rentals and a separate $12/night nearby parking garage, free shuttle Hotel-2-LAX accessible in the morning
CONS: not advertised LA City Hotel Tax $12.45/night addition to quoted price - charged twice - 2nd pending and disputing; NO free shuttle LAX-2-Hotel as opposed to every 30 minutes 24/7 advertised (waited an hour 12-1am, had to pay to use another hotels shuttle); noisy air-conditioning if needing

Pool has been closed for 3 years even though they posted a picture of a beautiful pool 2 months ago. Very misleading. Plus the exercise room has not been open for some time. No mention anywhere they want $50 additional if you have a car. Stay away!

The hotel was in bad shape. Parts of the ceiling and walls were filthy or had water damage. The roof in the hallway leading to the room was actively leaking. At some point the toilet stopped flushing properly. The pool was out of service. There was a construction crew hammering away on the roof trying to fix the leaks during the day. We had to call multiple times to request towels. I did not feel comfortable at this place. This place was subpar. Parking should have been free considering the condition of the place, but it wasn't cheap. I expected better than this and I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel.
Noteworthy details: Cheaper parking near by.

For what the staff had to work with , they did an amazing job ! They were inclusive of everyone who entered the building and super friendly to all. Special mention to Viola at the restaurant with no name..the older Hispanic lady working the working the evening front desk. The morning security guard greeting everyone and helping out the breakfast crew, carrying items back into kitchen.
All facilities were closed. Swimming pool, laundry and at times elevators. Too noisy our room facing street

Room for 4 people and a set of 3 towels, one set: shampoo, soap, toilet paper.
We asked for a supplement several times. We were given two small towels.
Room not cleaned for the duration of stay (4 nights)
You can survive two days of breakfast because it's always the same. Powdered scrambled eggs and reheated burger cutlet. Everything in plastic.
One or two nights at most.
Rooms: A towel rack will come in handy.
Nearby activities: No attractions.
Safety: Yes, it's safe.
Walkability: Yes, after using Uber or bus about 300 m.
Food & drinks: For one or two nights. Plastic, no variety.
Noteworthy details: For one or two nights maximum.
