What others say usually bad tenants that got put out.. They redid the rooms. You in West Los Angeles paying 40 a night to stay in a sro hotel. Quiet &safe neighborhood. U want restrooms and all the trimmings other places cost 75+ Even the hotel across the street have bathroom in the hall but you have go thru management to get in.. And they do not have daily rates. There prices go from 300 a week and up.. You check out the room before you rent at the Brooks. Been there 7yrs I loved the price..Sons run the place very friendly.

Bed bugs, mice, cockroaches, the smell of feces, the smell of urine. No 24 hour service office. No free wifi or wifi offered. Random junkies either entering or leaving the premises. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Rooms: Rooms are filled with 2nd hand store furniture and run down. The scent of dust and old clothes. Expect cockroaches on the walls at any time. Expect to see mice traps every 10 feet. Random scents of urine or feces throughout the halls. Nearby activities: Nearby convenience store and button full of homeless, vets and junkies. Safety: Always travel with another person or a large group. Very sketchy area. Walkability: Not safe from sundown to sunrise. Travel in groups or by vehicle only. Noteworthy details: There are 3 or 4 people in management that rent out the rooms but they aren't always available. The front door is shut about 20 hours of the day.
