Sonder The Craftsman

Sonder was a good experience. Simple design, large and clean room with a small kitchen. But I had two main issues. The floor had no parquet/carpet. It was bare concrete and for that reason it was not soundproof at all. We could hear people dragging chairs on our ceiling loudly. We could even hear them taking out their shoes and dropping on the floor. The pillows was the other problem. They were so soft and puffy that you don't feel you put anything under your head. I had neckache every morning. Everything else was great! I loved the large dining chairs, perfect mattress, nice sunlight from windows.

Very comfortable accommodation. Great location and walkable or short Uber to most places. Washing machine, dryer and kitchen certainly very handy. Definitely recommend. Noteworthy details: City view apartments may be a little noisy due to busy street. Emergency vehicle sirens etc.

Its close to many attractions in the downtown, but you may not walk around at night since there are many homeless people around. I really liked how they managed the rooms. The only reason I gave a 4 star for their room is the bathroom. The shower room doesnt have a door or a curtain, so youll be likely to wet the floor. There was only a tiny shelf in the shower room that is occupied by soaps provided by Sonder, so if you bring your own soaps and stuff, youll need to figure out where to put your items while taking a shower. Other than the shower, I really enjoyed staying there. The noise from outside may be unavoidable if you stay in this area. They might have been able to install better windows that can cancel noise.

Had an amazing stay here. This hotel is brand new, with very large and well decorated rooms, including a dishwasher, big fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, cooktop, oven and washing/ drying machines. Bed was very comfortable. You do the check in on the app and you receive a code you will use to enter the building and your room. There is a reception, but you only need to talk to them in case of a problem (or chat with them in the app). The hotel is located in a beautiful building of downtown, about 8 minutes walk from the metro station. I have to note that most rooms will be facing the street, which might be quite noisy at times because of some cars/motocycles. We were at the 6th floor and it was still very noticeable at some time. They provide ear plugs, but light spleepers beware.
