Tommie Hollywood - JDV by Hyatt

We arrived at this hotel on Thursday 4th April and we stayed for 4 nights. The hotel offers valet parking for $50 a night. It was very easy to use and the valet parking staff were lovely and helpful. The lady at check in was also very kind. Check in was simple and easy. The room was clean and tidy. We found the hotel to be in an easy location for us to access the places we wanted to go to. The music noise each night wasnt as loud as we expected after reading previous reviews. We found a lot of the noise was actually coming from a rooftop bar close by and so wasnt the hotels fault. Overall, we would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Great staff who are really friendly and make you feel special. Lovely clean rooms. Excellent location in the heart of Hollywood and a cheap Uber to the eastern part of the city. Yes it CAN be noisy up until about 11pm but its LA if youre looking for a quiet place to stay youll be looking for a while.

Booked a room with the view of the Hollywood sign, they put me in a room facing the sign but with no view due to the building across the street, had to re-pack but thankfully they moved me to the 7th floor, rooms are incredibly small, they did not honor the 64$ globalist credit I was told could be used any time at check in, the rooftop bar causes loud music and stomping to be heard in the room past 12am, and the door lock broke halfway through the stay and my only option was to show my ID and get escorted to my room every time I wanted to get in. Would not stay again

They charge you a "resort fee" of $34.86 per night that isn't mentioned unless you fully read the confirmation. The fee includes amenities and when you check in they charge you a $300 security deposit that is not mentioned ANYWHERE. To top it off it was a $55 charge per night for overnight valet.. and there is "public parking" across the street but you have to pay. Location is horrible, and sketchy
