Location - the area itself is fairly rough, but not super terrible. I felt a little uncomfortable walking around at night, but it was fine. Morning was chill. It's nice and central in LA, so driving to places was a breeze. My friends and I are young 20 something girls, and we felt safe enough.
Hotel - the rooms were a bit dated, but were good enough. It wasn't that booked up, so we didn't hear anyone by us. Police sirens were loud but we kept the AC on all night to help with that. Parking is tight but it always worked out and the security guy always helped us park. Breakfast was standard.
Staff - staff were really helpful in all areas! They made the stay a breeze and the constant security in the garage gave some peace of mind too
