You won't find a more knowledgeable or professional restorer of old Austrian Biedermeier furniture than Janusz Maszkiewicz.  He is the best.  I have taken him over a dozen old, broken 150-year-old chairs and he has worked magic on them.  Sure, it's best to keep things in the original condition if possible, but sometimes the furniture is too far gone, and that is where Janusz comes in and makes it look fabulous again.  When the alternative is throwing it away or repairing the furniture, Janusz can make your old piece into something worth keeping.  Well worth the investment.

Janus is the BEST. WE have a family heirloom table that became unstable during a recent move. Due to its size, we didn't want to move it again, so Janus came to our place and over the course of 2 days, fixed the table, fixed an armoire leg that had gone loose, and gave us a table in far better condition than the original restorer! I could not recommend him more highly.
