Im not happy about the experiences I had at this doctors office. It began on the first visit when I asked Dr. Haller to fill a script that was prescribed to me by a previous dr. He saw that it was a norco given to help with sleeping. He also checked how many times Ive had it filled since being prescribed the meds. I wasnt getting it filled that many times but he still acted overly cautious. That last time I had it filled prior to asking him to fill it was back in 2019! He suggested another med that I later found out was for depression. I was annoyed and offended. I have never taken any meds for depression. I called the office to request that he fill the meds I originally asked for. They couldnt send the script electronically as their system wouldnt permit. He wanted me to pick the script up and take it to the pharmacy. I was inconvenienced. I was annoyed due to the fact that I originally asked him to fill my prescription from the start but he didnt. The pharmacy said he could fax the script. He still tried to give me a hard time! I called asking him to fax the prescription. He was in the background sounding very unpleasant, unprofessional when discussing my request to the nurse. I told the nurse that I didnt like his tone! And that hes inconveniencing me and not considering that I have to drive to his office to get a paper script when I initially asked him to fill my prescription while I was there! After pulling tooth and nails, they finally faxed the script in. This second occurrence is what put the nail n the coffin! They told me that they submitted a referral for a medical device I asked the doctor to write me a prescription for. When I called to check the status about a week later. I was told they submitted the request and to wait for the response. About ten minutes later, a nurse called telling me my request was denied, saying the insurance said I could buy the device myself. I know darn well that a insurance company did not say that. They advised me to call my insurance. I did just that! Found out that the referral WAS NEVER sent by Kevin. The insurance rep asked him for the confirmation number. There was none because he didnt do it. In a nutshell, I was told by a nurse that Kevin advised against doing as I requested. The dr went along with it. I dont know why they decided to tell me that they did and to call my insurance. But it worked against them. And, after they submitted the request. The pharmacy told me that they needed to fill out paperwork for my other insurance due to them not having the appropriate forms filled out so the pharmacy can submit my prescription to the insurance. Ive never been to a doctors office that operates on such a basic level! Its almost like that are opened just to get paid. I wonder if they were located in west L.A. or another area where their primary demographic wasnt Black American. Would they operate with such lackluster?
