I had moderate insomnia in which I wake up in the middle of the night and I'm up for up to a few hours. Based on the sleep strategies I employed with Dr. Cho's recommendations, I've been able to sleep much better and my quality of life has improved. I highly recommend Dr. Cho for anyone experiencing insomnia.

Dr. Cho treated my insomnia which developed after I was discharged from a 2 week hospital stay. I was so miserable as I only got 3-4 hours of sleep each night and Ambien didn't help me. I sleep so much better now (8 hours a day) and I am off medication. He was very caring and professional. I highly recommend him!

I was having problems sleeping. My doctor referred to Dr. Cho. She said Dr. Cho will be able to help me sleep better naturally without medication. From the first appointment with Dr. Cho, I was confident that Dr. Cho could help me sleep better naturally as he was explaining and educating me about sleep. Ive learned so much from Dr. Cho about sleeping habits and structure. What I should and should not do to help me sleep better. What I like about Dr. Cho is he taught me to be independent from medication for sleep but develop good habits with good discipline to sleep naturally. Dr. Cho is very knowledgeable about sleep and on top of his sleep knowledge, he is very kind and caring of his patient wellness. Before our coaching sessions ended, Dr. Cho made sure I had the tool be on my own and not depending on him. If you have problems with sleep and want to sleep naturally without depending on medication to help, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Cho.

Dr. Joshua Hyong-Jin Cho is director of the UCLA Insomnia Clinic at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and a board-certified psychiatrist who practices in Westwood.
