My husband is a a former patient of his. We were in between insurances so paid out of pocket. The front desk clerk had gone back to ask the doctor exactly how much the visit would be and the doctor was nice enough to knock of around $75. We were told the amount and paid it on the spot. Starting about a month later, we started getting bills in the mail and called in and were told that it should be taken care of soon. The same bill for the same amount the doctor took off kept coming in and coming in every month. We would call and were told time and time again that it would be taken care of on their end. Until finally now we are getting bills from a collection agency for that same amount. I dont know why this has to be so difficult. Now it has affected our credit score. Still no answers after all this time.
