First I want to say that the check in person at the front had great customer service and so did the doctor who did my exam. Thats where the 2 stars came from. I deducted one star due to me, scheduling an exam and teeth cleaning, and only receiving an exam, and then being told that they needed to verify my insurance before they gave me a teeth cleaning. Which I felt couldve been done the two days before when I was called to verify if I was coming to the appointment. The next next star was deducted due to me feeling like because I wasnt Latino, I wasnt being taken serious or really being taken care of. I dont want to claiming that they are bias. But I definitely have been left feeling that way. The staff was in no way diverse neither was the clientele. Once my exam was done, I was helped by another woman who was very short with me. Im guessing its due to me looking younger than I actually am, Im in my 30s yet I felt like I was being talked to like I was a teen. She kept reiterating how much I had for deductible, and how low it was, as if I had any control of what my job gave me for insurance. Then she told me she needed to check if I had a waiting period and that she would call me back in two days to verify if I had a waiting period and set up my actual cleaning once my insurance had been verified. A week went by and she finally got back to me and then reiterated that my deductible was very low and it would barely take care of anything that I needed done. I told her I understood that and that I was trying to use my deductible towards the most expensive procedure that I needed done and I would pay the difference. She then told me she would have to verify with my insurance how much they would take care of procedure, to let me know how much I would have to come out of pocket, it has now been two weeks and I have had no communication with her. Its okay, I found another dental office that is more diverse and who seems to treat all clients the same and I am getting what I need done. Also, the communication is a lot better where I am now. Hopefully this review helps others, so that they dont end up having an experience like I did.

Dr. Ben and his whole staff are incredibly nice and professional. As someone who has had bad experiences with dentists in the past, Florence Family Dentistry does a great job making sure you feel safe and have a wonderful experience. 10/10 will be going again in 6 months haha

Extremely friendly, professional and caring. the building may look old and uninviting but dont judge a book by its cover as they say. They dont make you feel bad about your income level or how you look or about what state your teeth are in or how they got in the condition your teeth may he in . And are very very patient and never make you feel like an idiot for asking a lot of questions. They are honest upfront and do everything they can to get the most done within what ever your insurance allowance is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
