AMDA, a school where you can pay upwards of $50,000 to continue taking introductory level acting classes that are no different from any drama classes in any high school. They require auditions but accept 99% of applicants. This in not a cutting edge school where you will learn from the best about the industry and how to succeed in the industry, this a school where they hire working actors who know how to act but do not know how to teach, therefore students leave with very little knowledge about acting. This school is money trap, it has a nice look and good advertising but once you arrive at school it is very obvious that all this school wants is your money. I lived in a an over crowded room with three other girls and cockroaches and mice. I was not supported as a student and did not get what I needed to succeed. Most students who attend this school do not engage with the material at all and spend most of class on their phones wasting their money. If you want to be an actor, dancer, or musical theatre student after high school do yourself a favor and go somewhere with better values, teachers, and students.
