My name is Sam. A little more than a year ago, I started researching how to start a foundation. I wanted to help provide grants for Angel Flight pilots to help offset their cost so that they could continue to help those in need. I also wanted to be able to provide scholarships to kids wanting to go to school to become pilots but without the financial means to do so, all in honor and memory of my father. After many months of research, everything pointed to the same first step. Create a solid business plan. I have created many documents for different businesses over the years, from company policies to corporate memos to standard operating procedures. I figured that a business plan should not be that much harder to create, so I began looking at other business plans and templates. It was not too long before I concluded that I needed someone with more experience than I to write this plan, so I dove back into my research. I spoke with a number of companies, one of which was Plan Writers. When I made my call to Plan Writers, I was greeted by a Mr. Matthew Khalili, CEO of Plan Writers, though I did not know who he was at the time. We spoke about what I wanted to do and what I expected. He told me, and I am paraphrasing here, that he believed in telling it like it is. He was not the type to blow sunshine up my six. If I asked a question, he would give me the answer whether or not it was what I wanted to hear, it WOULD be what I NEEDED to hear and it would be the truth. Being a military man, I liked this. He told me that they most likely would not be the cheapest, but I would get nothing but the best and he guaranteed I would be satisfied. We ended our call and I continued my search. I spoke with several other companies, but my conversation with Matthew stood out in my head. I have to admit, I found several other companies that had a cheaper price, but I really liked how up-front Matthew was with me, so I called him back and told him, that I wanted to enlist his services. He was extremely helpful in explaining the process and getting the ball rolling. He advised me that I would be contacted by my own personal writer and we could start working on my project. A couple of day later I was contacted by Alex Durig who seemed excited to be doing this project for me. He asked me several questions and then had me tell him exactly what I was looking for. Once we finished talking, Alex advised me that he had enough information to get started and if I did not have any questions for him, he would get back with me in a couple of weeks. He gave me his direct contact information and told me that if I had any questions at any time, do not hesitate to contact him immediately. The first draft of my plan came out exactly when Alex told me it would. And I have to say, I was IMPRESSED! It looked amazing. After reading it, I called Alex and we had a brainstorming session where both of us suggested some changes and he got back to work. I believe it important to point out, that the whole time I worked with Alex, he seemed genuinely excited to be working on this plan for me. This really made me feel good about my decision to hire Plan Writers to write my business plan. After several rewrites, I thought we were done, but Alex suggested that I get a graphic artist to complete the business plan to really make it stand out. He told me that I could use anyone that I would like, but if I did not know anyone, he could recommend someone to me. I decided to go with his suggestion and use his choice, and let me tell you, I am so very glad I did. Alex reached out to Irina Krasko and told her what I was looking for. He gave her all the pictures that I sent to him and advised that she would make me proud. And again, he was right! What I got back when Irina was done, was nothing short of a work of art. I could not be more pleased. I requested a few changes to some of the pictures, but the finished product was nothing short of amazing! My deepest gratitude to all the people of Plan Writers for the exceptional work and what I believe to be going above and beyond.
