Liza is the one of the Best committed ladies I have ever known, She is my aunt and Growing up she would personally be at her shop Monday thru Saturday till 10pm working. I'm very proud of my Aunt, She started her business at a young age out of her Basement. I would 100% recommended her to Make your Brides dress.

Two of my closest friends bought their dresses from Liza many years ago, so I went to her shop to try some on. Unfortunately the dress I fell in love with (a Maggie Sottero) was at another boutique. That boutique didn't do alterations, though, so I went back to Liza with some special requests - the one thing about my dress I didn't love were the spaghetti straps. And so I asked that she not only take the dress in and hem it, but also create new lace straps that matched the rest of the dress. And boy did she deliver!! Personally I think the designer should make that dress with her straps from now on, lol!  They were beautiful and I felt so much more comfortable. She also tailored the dress to fit me to perfection - I've never felt more beautiful than I did in that dress once Liza was done with it. I will say I am glad I started the process pretty early (first appointment was 3 months out) and the cost was more than I was originally hoping for (she didn't give me a cost estimate from the outset, saying she couldn't know until she started working on it - so keep that in mind). But I don't regret the decision to go to her AT ALL. Liza is a gifted seamstress and designer in her own right, not to mention very personable and sweet. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an alterations specialist!

If you enjoy being gaslit while under all the other stressful pressure of being a bride, this shop is for you. If you have time for long and unnecessary delays in the progress of your gown, this shop is for you. If you are cool with random cancellations for fittings especially down to the wire, this shop is for you.If you are interested in being lied to every step of the way, this shop is for you. If you think it's fair to be told by the shop owner / dressmaker to go shop for your own fabric, lace, and beading while never having done so in your life and not having any idea where to start, this shop is for you. So ... if you want to be lied to, feel the need to waste precious time, enjoy figuring things out on your own even though you're paying a professional to do it, and then like not being told when your dress will be ready, you found the right shop! You want a bespoke gown? Enter at your own risk to your sanity. This was the opposite of the experience we expected at such a wonderful time in our lives. So glad my mom wasn't around to witness thisordeal.

Liza and her team made all my dreams come true. They made my the most beautiful dress exactly how I wanted it. Liza helped me from the design to picking the fabric, she helped me every step of the way! She is super talented and really sweet. They finished the dress very quickly and ahead of schedule! The dress was absolute perfection and I would recommend Liza to everyone!
