Citi

I've banked with Citi since Cal Fed auto switched into Citi in the late 90's. Im in many different branches, and over the years, in different cities. I'm surprised to have had zero disappointing experiences and they have been most competative.

Trash organization for sure. Im planning to close my account with them. They are way worse than Chase.

Citibank is a trash organization. As a small biz contractor, i cash checks from customers all the time. Citibank is an absolute nightmare to deal with. First, not all branches cash checks and there is no way to find this out, until you've wasted time in line. This happens so often at Citibank, that they actually have print outs with addresses of branches that do cash checks. So there i go, driving 30 minutes to this branch. While most banks may want 2-3 forms of ID, this bank wants my social security number on a random Sticky Note, and it took 15 minutes for the cashier to actually give me the money. Slowest & worst service ever at a bank. I would never open an account at Citi, if this is how they'll treat the people I'm writing checks too.
