Sutton Place Apartments in Hollywood

First of all, there are nails left in front of my door because there’s no floor covering and no one cleans up after the day of construction is done. What would happen if a resident stepped on a rusty nail? Second, no one is wearing masks. The construction noise is a nuisance and the fire alarms are all turned off. I’m unable to enter and exit my residence because they randomly choose areas to work on throughout the day and management is unresponsive to requests for an actual schedule or timeline. When asked for a solution we are simply told to leave. This is completely unprofessional and unlawful. Do not rent here!

We just moved into Sutton Place and so far it's been a great experience! This place is a hidden gem and the Property Managers, Chelsea and Chanh are the best! We received the apartment in excellent condition and the building is kept in great condition! This is the place to live in LA!

I've been here for just over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The entire building has recently undergone renovations, which took place within the last five months. As much as I am looking forward to the new facelift the complex will receive, we tenants have been left in the dark when it comes to information and construction timelines. Most recently, leasing has sent an email to tenants stating our unit doors will have to be left open so that the painting staff may paint our front doors. Working from home is not always an option for me. So it was a major nuisance for me to have to stay at home for a full day in order for a painted door to dry. My next-door neighbor was informed that the renovations on our floor would take only a week, but it has now been a month. I enjoy living here, however communication has recently been poor. This is a great place to live, just after the renovations are completed.

Definitely a great place to live for young professionals, people new to LA, or even more established residents looking for a place to settle down (my neighbor has been here for over 25 years!) I moved here from Boston for work and was super nervous considering I know close to nothing about LA, but Chan and Chelsea were so kind and so helpful during the move in process! Having them to assist with everything made a world of difference. As for the building itself - it’s very clean, shockingly quiet, the studio spaces are designed to make it feel like a one bedroom, the balcony and garage are a major plus, and the rooftop pool & view speak for themselves. I’ve only been here a month and maybe I’m naive, but so far I love it here! Also a great location as the building is only a few blocks from Hollywood Blvd, but far enough that you’re not smack in the middle of chaos.
