WARNING: (this is a long rant) This has been taken over by (edited) ***LAGUNA POINT PROPERTIES** and GREYSTAR is managing these properties, behemoth slumlords. Security/front desk decreased/rarely there. Packages stolen.Hallways reek of TRASH literally like an actual dumpster. This is because chutes are clogged/ overflows, AND the trash chute door is broken. My neighbor bless their heart, put a wall scent plug ins in effort to mitigate the stink. That said, no maintenance, no response. Since it appears someone reads these and may or may not reply: DEAR MANAGEMENT: instead of replying to reviews give the appear that you guys care can you reply to residents emails. Please? An auto-response isnt a real reply. Also, please fix the ELEVATORS! Maybe asking too much, but also is it possible to increase security? Or at least figure out a way for packages to be delivered securely? I know it can be done, because it has been done before you guys booted the other security company. To be fair, before we had 24 her security, now Im not sure if the front desk person is security, or 12 hit concierge? Im not sure what purpose the front desk serves. (Sorry to say, but just saying it how is). On your website, you say that youll be renovating commonplaces soon. Umm, not sure why the need to announce that your basically doing what shouldve/couldve been done. Heres a thought, maybe just do it? Then show it on the website after. So far THE ONLY THING THAT IMPROVED IS THAT ITS QUIETER THAN IT WAS. (Or maybe ppl just moving out) DANGEROUS: This neighborhood is bad, I expect there to be incidents that come with the territory, but regular shootings (and one person straight gunned down a block away) its just not worth it. Rent is NOT CHEAP EITHER. The pictures on the website make these units look much better than they actually are. WARNING AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

This place is a nightmare. It's filthy. It's full of black mold. The management and security don't care about the tenants or their safety. Don't live here.

Pretty nice and quiet w/ lots of great food and bars to visit but these type of old buildings come with lots of structure breakdowns. Maintenance has there hands full 24/7

OMG I was thinking about checking out this property but then a friend I know that lives there said No Stay Away! & sent me an IG profile about this place a journalist made & I was Shocked what I found!! IG: @sbbuildingsdtla look yourself about this one SB lofts & SB Manhattan
