I recently went to Du-Pars for a brunch, and was left very unsatisfied. Now, I've come to this restaurant for breakfast for years, and every time I've left with a full stomach and happy mood. But, the brunch/lunch service and food is not it. I ordered a stuffed full stack order of pancakes, only to find that the top layer was the only layer with the chosen topping, leaving the rest of the pancakes plain. This was a shock to me after paying almost 3 dollars extra for a few chocolate chips. I also ordered a sandwich combo, which was accompanied by very stale bread that resembled cardboard. I had high hopes for my lunch today, and was left disappointed and feeling swindled.

This may be the only place left in Los Angeles, worth waiting in line for. The food is excellent, the service is the best. This restaurant has been around for many decades and is not as expensive as many people would assume.

Sat on the patio and had their famous pancakes. Excellent. Service was very good. Parking was convenient.
