Highly recommend. Guide Acupuncture is incredible. Melissa came very highly recommended to me from a coworker when I was looking for options to improve my skin (hormone- and stress-induced breakouts). I appreciate how thorough Melissa is in her assessmentsshe takes notes each session to track symptoms, patterns, and improvement. The treatments are personalized each time so you can feel the most relief. I had never tried acupuncture prior to coming here, but now I go every other week because of the benefits, both mental and physical. I HATE needles but love acupuncture!

Melissa is a phenomenal acupuncturist - skillful, compassionate, and a very creative thinker! She's been so helpful in managing my chronic pain and endometriosis - can't recommend Melissa enough for relief in coping with any variety of conditions because she really knows her stuff and works very carefully with her patients to develop holistic (and helpful!) treatment strategies. I've been seeing her for a little under a year and am so much healthier now than ever before. My primary care physician even asked what my secret was after my bloodwork came back so good (for example: my CA-125 levels were significantly reduced after six months of acupuncture with Melissa, which was something I hadn't been able to accomplish in several years of prescribed hormone therapy). While I've always been squeamish around needles, I find acupuncture incredibly soothing, and appreciate the relaxed environment Melissa creates. As someone who experiences chronic pain and autoimmune dysfunction, it's a relief to know there's a place that always leaves me feeling better than I feel prior to treatment. Going to Guide has become my favorite part of every week, and I can't thank Melissa enough for how much she's helped me. Go see her, she rocks!!!

Dr. Mellissa Tsai is an exceptional healer: highly educated, intuitive, and compassionate. She listened to my past experiences and symptoms without rushing me. Her bedside manner is kind and calming. Can't recommend strongly enough. She gets results!

I really enjoyed Dr. Tsai professionalism and attention to detail. I suffered from tennis elbow and found that acupuncture has helped the healing and reduce the inflammation greatly. It's been a terrific experience and I'm a fan. My needs and concerns were always addressed and no time was wasted with each of my visits. Dr. Tsai is also a good needler. I like that I didn't have to take pain meds and or over the counter NSAIDs. I highly recommend trying Dr. Tsai.

For the most part, I have been a physically fit and active person my entire life. However, while in my mid 30's, I discovered I was born with a spinal abnormality called lordosis, which is an accentuated curve in the spine causing ones tailbone to protrude a bit more than the average person. This had caused considerable discomfort for me for years not even knowing lordosis was a thing. The initial response from my primary care provider (at the time) of my first mentioning any discomforts was "Everyone has back pain.." I was then prescribed back stretching classes and a massage cane. Love the cane by the way, but couldn't tell you about the classes. Then sometime in 2012, while attempting a particular workout I had no business, I injured my lower back with what I still only assume was a very severe strain. For a time, I simply dealt with the increased pain, spasms, and discomforts hoping the intensified aggravation from the injury would subside, but to no avail. So for the next 3 years, I endured the constant aggravations ailing my back from top to bottom. It wasn't until April of 2017 that I began intense focused treatment my numerous back issues. After months of chiropractic care, physical therapy, and massage therapy I was surely on the mend and feeling much improvement, however my lower back nagged significantly in progress comparison to rest of me. Waking up was still painful as well as standing, even if but for brief moments. i.e. while standing in line at the bank my lower back would feel as if it were being crushed under the pressure of my upper torso. Although I had learned and been applying the techniques gained from physical therapy to relieve the pressure, the relief was minimal. I was still in constant pain day and night. I then began acupuncture therapy and had the great fortune of undergoing the care of Dr. Melissa Tsai. I immediately felt significant improvement after just one session which was absolutely an amazing experience overall. By the third and fourth sessions, I could honestly say my lower back had never felt better. Not only had the pain been completely relieved and already a distant memory, but it now even feels all the more strengthened and durable. I can now stand without any discomfort for as long as need be and I am no longer waking up in agony. It's almost hard to grasp how swift and impactful the progress was after the four years of enduring. So much so that not feeling the ailment is almost surreal. I had never tried acupuncture before and consider myself most fortunate to receive such great care under the expertise, guidance and techniques of Dr. Tsai. She is truly an amazing Healer and for that I will be forever grateful. Thank You!!
