Dr. Kara is the best acupuncturist in LA! Her energy is very welcoming and calming, and she is always thorough at my appointments, asking lots of questions about my physical, mental and emotional state, to ensure that I'm getting the most out of my session. I came to her for the first time a couple of years ago to deal with neck pain I was experiencing after car accident and within a few sessions, the constant pain was gone! I still see her when I have flare ups, too, and she's also helped me with improving my sleep and managing my anxiety. Can't recommend her enough!

Dr.Kara is awesome! She is knowledgeable and caring. I was a little bit scare about cupping procedure due to a bad experience, however the entire procedure was painless and very relaxing. Going to her sessions feels like going to spa , meditation, acupuncture all combined. She always listens to your needs and goes above and beyond to help. Thank you Dr.Kara!

I highly recommend Dr. Kara!! I was in need of a major energy shift late fall of last year. There were a few areas of my life that I was really struggling with and although I practice yoga a few times a week, eat healthy and workout, I allowed the issues to completely engulf me and my wellbeing. A couple close friends suggested trying acupuncture and reiki. Not knowing too much about either, I was curious and also afraid because I had a fear of needles. Dr. Kara and I live in the same building and one day shortly after the suggestion from my friends Dr. Kara and I shared the same elevator. Being the curious person I am, I used the short time we had together to inquire about her services and to see if she could refer a reiki practitioner. She said that she can help and suggested that I book an appointment online, so I did! For the record this was the best thing I did! The process of booking an appointment is relatively simple, as its all online. I recommend completely the application digitally as well (saves a lot of time.) The day of my appointment I was anxious and ready for a shift of energy. Arriving at Dr. Karas practice, I immediately felt a sense of calm. She was incredibly inviting, warm and patient. Because this was my first time, we had an initial meeting so she could understand my needs. After our very informative conversation, it was time for the magic! She started with cupping, which I never had before, yet highly recommend. Then transitioned into the acupuncture healing. My visit was purely to shift my energy. After my session, I felt completely relaxed, recharged, physically lighter, and energized. Although I did not have any aches or pains, I felt my mind, body and soul was in a state of bliss. It was heavenly and life changing!! In addition to my first time, I went a second time just for general maintenance and because the feeling after is incredible and the second experience was consistent as my first one. The only difference is that there was no need for the introduction conversation. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Kara and her healing powers. As soon as this quarantine is over, I am booking another appointment!! For any person wondering, she takes most insurances but I paid out of pocket, and to me, the fee IS well worth it!!
