Dr. Michael Yang was referred to me by Stephanie Prendergast so I came with high expectations.During our second session he convinced me to do cupping on my abdominal area. He said "I'll be back in 2 minutes"He was gone for about 25 minutes. I wanted to move the cups because the pain felt unusual but I decided to trust him.When he came back and removed the cups, there was bleeding in my ab area (see attached photo)Dr Yang didn't apologize, he just said, "it's just a cosmetic wound you'll be fine"When he continued to treat me, I told him I was in pain, he just said,"oh relax... it's not a big deal""you're a adult, right?"No apologies, or admitting he made a mistake.That picture is taken months later. It was worse at the time. It hasn't gone away.I hesitated to post this review. I enjoy his sense of humor and he seemed like a nice guy. I felt like it was important for others to know.I was in a lot of pelvic pain during that time, and this incident didn't help the situation.

I love dr. Mike. He totally helped me deal with my chronic pain. I so prefer getting pokes by his little needles than taking painkillers! He has the hands of a doctor I tell ya. Amazing.

Dr. Yang knows what he's doing.4 years i had lower back pain and was about to get surgery. My physical and emotional pain has gone.Totally recommended!

I have major autoimmune issues that cause significant amounts of pain. Dr. Michael is the best pain management money can buy. His location is newly renovated and I always appreciate the garden. I have been seeing him regularly for years, my only complaint is that I didn't start seeing him sooner. You can visibly see my face go from being cherry red (caused by lupus) to human due to his deft placements of needles, my overall inflammation dramatically reduced. I just love Dr. Michael! He is fantastic!

Dr Yang is an excellent Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncturist. He is incredibly, smart, confident and understands his patients conditions. I have referred him several patients and all have said he is the best. His office is super cozy and easily accessible.
