This review is late, but I don't care. I took my son here years ago and interacted with Barbara, the nurse practitioner. Was great interacting with her in person. However, she  was a rude and snarky witch (prefer to replace the w with a b) on the phone! Don't know what her issue was, but definitely needs to work on how she interacts with people on the phone. Simple customer service 101 training is highly recommended, Barbara sweetie.

Ive loved bringing both of my children here. Dr Tran has been such a great doctor and weve been treated very well by the staff. Unfortunately the parking is very limited and now the surrounding streets are all permitted parking. Well have to start looking elsewhere for a new pediatrician.

I think of all the doctors I've met in my life both for myself and my son, Dr. Tosu is far and away my favorite.   She carries herself with complete confidence without even the slightest trace of arrogance or ego or pushiness.   She's efficient and seems super-duper smart and caring. She's very knowledgeable, but she also knows what she DOESN'T know and will refer you to a specialist rather than guess.  I always ask specifically for her, because otherwise you might get one of the other doctors and nurses who aren't always as good.  She's pretty much perfection in a pediatrician, and honestly there's not much else to say about her.  As for the office, I've mostly had reasonable waits. Not always, but certainly mostly -- I think there was only one truly long wait. The biggest difficulty I've had is getting through -- the phone is busy A LOT.

My wife and I started going here after we had our first kid, about 6 1/2 years ago. For the first few years our only complaint was they were way too busy all the time. But we were always able to get in when we needed. Our first child also never had any medical conditions that required emergency care. Fast forward to our second child, who suffers from very severe asthma. During 2021, we ended up in the ER FOUR SEPARATE TIMES! All because LAP said they didn't have availability to see us. To be clear, on all four occasions I called well before closing time. Their only advice, other than recommending we go to the ER, was to wait until after the office officially closed and then call back so we could speak to the after hours doctor. Which is essentially worthless because the after hours doc will not prescribe medication. If medication is required then you either have to wait until the next business day or go to the ER. I hate writing this because the doctors are great. But the front desk staff is incredibly rude. They make it clear that their primary concern is getting off and going home on time, each and every day. It doesn't matter if your kid is coughing uncontrollably and has a 105 fever. Approximately four months ago, we finally switched to a different pediatrician. As luck would have it, the same week we switched over our son had an asthma episode. And like kids do, his episode started around 4pm on a Friday. Since I was able to call in before the office closed, they kept staff at the office and waited until we got there. 7pm later, we walked out the door with a prescription in hand. Our biggest regret about the new place is that we didn't switch over sooner. And just as an added bonus, our new location is open for a few hours every Saturday. Because they understand that kids don't get sick when it's convenient.
