Buying a floating island was one of the best things my husband and I bought for our pond. It's beautiful, and our fish love it and love hiding under it! Well worth every penny!!

i went here and it was overwhelming at first because there were so many options but staff was extremely helpful. they were also able to create one of their floating island "arrangements" which was nice and looks good in my pond. one of my plants accidentally included a metamorphizing frog so that was cool because i now have frogs in my pond. one thing to note is that they apparently dont treat the plants they sell for invasive pond snails/eggs so unless you "dip" or quarantine the plants prior to introduction into your pond theres a better than likely chance that you will develop an pond snail infestation. i guess its partially my fault since i didnt research introducing pond plants but it would have been nice if the staff had warned me about that. i have probably hundreds of these snails and ive long since given up trying to get rid of them. ive asked pond forums how to get rid of them and followed given advice to no avail and im not about to remove the plants and use pool shock to nuke the pond and start from scratch (the infestation will probably return because of egg sacks on submerged plants) so ive accepted the reality and lived with them in there. i would give this place 5 stars otherwise just nicked the 1 star for not informing me of the possiblity of invasive snail infestations and how to mitigate that. the invasive pond snails i got from the plants purchased here are the apple and ramshorn snails these are an invasive species which do not require a breeding pair to reproduce. i wouldnt have minded it if it was a japanese trapdoor snail. mystery snail, or assasin snail but these were just a generic invasive species. @ the owners you might consider treating your plants for invasive species prior to selling them to eliminate this problem dipping the plants or treating the display ponds using predatory snails or fish or some other kind of means. its really not fair to sell potentially contaminated goods without giving a warning. your prices were fine but the expenses ive incurred since trying to clear up my infestation would have in hindsight made me look elsewhere for pond plants... as for who is at fault for the presence of pond snails that would squarely be on you because this was a brand new pond with new pvc plumbing a new pressure filter, and no rocks present just a black liner so there was no prior infestation. sorry to blame you but facts are facts. still i would recommend your business but please do better.
