Gem Nail Bar

Got a builder gel plus a manicure package with Katie. She was great (and patient!). I am new to getting my nails done and I was a bit anxious, she was kind and helpful. Bonus points for a great hand massage during the manicure.

I arrived at 10:05am asking if there was any walk-in availability for a regular manicure and was told that they were busy and to come back. I asked when I should return and someone else told me to grab my color. Within five minutes someone was ready to do my nails. There was no consultation or conversation about what I wanted, the nail tech didnt even talk to me. She haphazardly ran a nail file over my nails, unnecessarily used a drill on my bare natural nails, and I had to ask her to even out the shape of my nail and help with a hangnail I had. Not to mention the towels used on me were dirty with big globs from previous clients. My service was finished within 10 minutes. No one else is the salon was rushed. If they didnt have availability for walk ins they shouldnt have sat me because I would have happily gone elsewhere and honestly wish I had. My nails are ugly, I missed out on the salon experience, and I will not be back.

They are very good at figuring out what you want and delivering. Plus those chairs are comfortable as heck.
