I almost feel badly for giving 3 stars. I kept going back and forth on whether I should give 4 stars. First I will give the positive. The 3 times I have visited this store the chicken was freshly cooked, and was just dropped in the basket. The first time was on opening day. By chance I was just passing by, headed to my original store on 10th and Long Beach Blvd., but decided to give them a try knowing each location is different. I wasn't highly impresses. Even though it was fresh , it seemed not as flavorful as the other location. Fast forward to yesterday, I decided to go again, even though my instict keep telling me I should go ahead and take the extra 6 min to go to Long Beach Blvd. I didn't listen. I'm not leaving this review to bash the store. I just hope management sees this and takes it in consideration. The chicken seems not seasoned enough to me. I also have an issue with your Mac and cheese. The pasta was so overly cooked and soft it looked like chewed up food that someone chucked back into the container and blended it with cheese. We eat with our eyes first.. if it doesn't LOOK appealing, most likely it will affect the whole experience. I was really not wanting to eat it. I took a picture, because I was going to upload it. But it doesn't matter because I have decided to not return to this location again. $14 is too much to be spending on food that you aren't really enjoying.

That's a 1 star review & a hell no from me. My son bit into a long hair in his chicken sandwich last night. So disgusting. Very disappointed. We love Popeye's and were excited that the new location was so close to home. We won't be returning customers and it's doubtful anyone who works there will care, much less notice this review.

Great fresh fast food. Good service. Food was hot and packaged well enough to stay hot until I got home. My husband likes their sides. Nice clean store.

Blacked chicken strips + Mardi Gras mustard = flavour explosion. Probably less unhealthy sense its not breaded and fried. They're hot tho so don't burn your mouth
