Associates in General Surgery

I was lucky to find that Dr. Islas was in my network. I came to him years ago and found him to be very knowledgeable and empathetic. He is a great Dr. He quickly reassured me all would be fine and scheduled surgery. He followed up later that day with directions on wound care. I would recommend him to my closest friends!

Who knew that having surgery would be such a pleasant experience. This was all because of Dr. Kahn. He is an amazing surgeon and such a great human being. I had my very first surgery ever and was terrified about everything. I'm one of those people who never looks when I'm getting a shot or having blood drawn. Yeah I'm a complete chicken. Dr. Kahn made sure I understood everything before, during, and after the surgery. He even ordered pressure stockings for me to wear during my surgery. I had no pain at all after my surgery. Didn't even need a Tylenol. I was expecting to have some sort of pain since I was prescribed pain killers, but I guess those pills are standard procedure. My friend told me I must've had a good surgeon. Dr. Kahn is always so calm and pleasant and resolved all of my issues every time I've had to see him. The office staff is great as well. April, the nurse that works directly with Dr. Kahn is great. Steve and Selena are also good. Surgery isn't bad at all if you have a great doctor.

I must say I really don't know where to start. I was not the easiest patient to get into surgery, I had resistance, and this staff helped me feel apart of the family! Dr. Grant has done not one but two surgeries on me throughout his career. It's always an excellent experience knowing he has the experience he has, and just his personality as a whole. He's a great man! It's bittersweet to know of his retirement, but happy he get's to enjoy life! The office staff from Raina, Barbara, and Steven, has been a pleasure to communicate with and get me set up for my surgery. They're all very caring and easy to talk to, which can be hard to come by in this day. Overall, wanted to voice my happiness with Dr. Grant and his team! We wish you the best!

This review is based on my experience with Barbara! She is the admin and needs all the praise she is an amazing woman.  I had a bad experience during my surgery 2 years ago.  Called today to pay my final bill, Barbara remembered me talked me through everything was so nice polite and amazing!!!!! THIS IS HARD TO COME BY, Barbara you deserve the best~ Thank you for turning my experience around.

Dr. Grant is very Professional, gave me pronosis. and gave me rerferrals as well I am very Blessed to have him as my Surgeon
