Joseph Construction Long Beach CA

I reached out to Joseph while I was researching different contractors to build my new home in Newport Beach. Most of the contractors I spoke with wanted exorbitant amounts, many upwards of $600-700 per square foot to do the work. I spoke with him for a good amount of time walking through the design of the house, what our budget was, and how much the build and finished items would cost. There were many unknowns as things like appliances, flooring, and countertops were up to me to pick out, so those costs would have to be determined later. It was very helpful to have Joseph walk me through the range in pricing for all the potential add-ons. For me, I really was not sure what to budget, but luckily Joseph had been down this road several times so knew exactly what things would cost for the size of home I was building. Another thing Joseph mentioned was that he was going to work on one and only one job while building my house. To me thats a very important detail, as we want to move into our new home as soon as possible, and it would be very pain staking to go by the house all the time and not see anyone there during work hours. I decided to move forward with Joseph and am very glad I did. Its been about 8 months into the project, Joseph has completed the demo, the grading, the foundation/concrete, the framing, roof, electrical and plumbing. Joseph and his team are there 5 or 6 days every single week from morning until the end of the day. He has not taken on any other project since he started, he has been fully devoted to getting my house built. Another nice thing about using Joseph, he has accounts with several vendors for everything like windows and cabinets, to roofing material and tile/stone. When we were trying to pick out cabinets, he contacted over 10 different cabinet companies and spent several hours on the phone or in person with their reps to try and find the best quality cabinet at the best possible price. And he did the same for the windows we ordered along with the doors and other higher cost items. All in an attempt to maximize our budget and ensure we only had quality products in our home. Its just nice to know he has our back and isnt looking to take a big cut on everything we need to order or any change we had to make to the project/design. He just tells things like it is and gets the job done. We still have some time left to go before our house is completed, and of course there have been many unexpected hiccups with the city/permits and other elements to the project (as with any new construction project). But Joseph has been able to pivot and is always able to find the best solution. We are very much looking forward to these final few months of the build and being able to finally move in!

Joseph put a new addition on to my home and it turned out better than i had thought!! He was always on time and on budget. Very understanding , professional, and hardworking i recommend.

We have used Joseph for the remodeling of two bathrooms and most recently a complete kitchen remodel. Each time, we liked them even more. Very Reliable , on time, talented, helpful and all around good guy. We will absolutely be using them again.

He is shady. Cooker hood far too much to the right, and too far forward, doesn't cover the burners. He smashed the one before that. Every job was terrible. Back patio wasn't properly constructed to drain water. He stole my mail. Threw it in the trash. He said to my 6 year old "hey fatty" what adult says things like that. He caused so many problems in my marriage to the point we're getting divorced. The white walls are all dirty. He never liked me because I'd highlight every shady job to my wife including safety concerns on crack structural wood beams. He tried to take a huge storage container off the back if a truck, using one fork. Almost tipped it in the neighbors garden. Could have killed someone. He's had so many things filed against him. It would take me a month to list all his shady stuff. All this he can't say he never as I have all the pictures. I had to edit this. You did work on my wife's house. You almost tipped a huge metal storage from the truck over the neighbors hedge. Remember. Videos and pictures don't lie. As for the mail. You do know you messaged her telling her about you taking my mail. So don't try your threatening with legal action. If people seen the mess you left her house. The cooker hood far too forward. And the lights not in line. You really messed her around when she was good to you. I love how you show pictures of her house. If people look closely to the cooker hood, they'll see it's far too forward and doesn't catch the back burners. You do know. I still have all these pictures. Best thing you could do it stop be obnoxious.
