Sunshine Day Care

Enrolling our son in Sunshine Daycare has truly been a blessing. Shohreh and her team are super professional, compassionate, hard workers they seriously love the kids. The daycare provides a cool app, allowing us to stay connected through uploaded pictures and videos throughout the day (the only phone notifications that I look forward to!) Shohreh and her team always go the extra mile, setting up wonderful activities for birthdays and holidays. The kids are like a little family, and our son is always repeating his daycare buddies' names lol. We're beyond thankful and HIGHLY recommend Sunshine Daycare.

Shohreh and Sunshine Daycare have been amazing for our family. Our daughter has been there for a little over a year and she loves it. She's learned so much and has made some amazing friends. She started off in the infant class and is now in the toddler class where she gets to learn something new every day. The teachers are so kind and caring and take great care of our daughter. We know that Sunshine Daycare is like a 2nd home for our daughter and we would recommend it to anyone. We know she is safe when she's there and well cared for. They really treat you like family!!!

This review is not for their services, who knows they may be a good daycare facility. I am an expecting mother calling to get more information about their programming for a baby that will be due next year, and the woman who answered the phone was so off-putting. When asked, she would provide no information about the center because they are "all booked up." She did not even ask when I might be expecting to enroll my child. She did not offer the waitlist because it's apparently so full, they are not adding to it. She instead suggested I get more information about the facility on Facebook. I don't usually write reviews based on mere phone inquiries, but when trusting my child with someone else, it certainly won't be here. This was one of the most unprofessional interactions I've had; it gives me zero confidence in their ability to provide care for my newborn and in a way that makes me feel comfortable and welcome.

My daughter has attended Sunshine Daycare for the past five months and we could not be happier. During that time she has overcome her initial fears to shine at daycare. As an only child, navigating isolation for over a year during the pandemic, it was only natural for my daughter to have a hard time adjusting to daycare again. She would initially cry and refuse to eat or even play with other children. Shohreh is such a knowledgeable professional.  She said to me, "I am a mom too, and approach my job thinking about what I would like for my own children." This philosophy is what has made all the difference.  Shohreh worked one on one with my daughter to comfort her and make her feel safe and secure. My daughter no longer cries, she enjoys her friends, and eats her food in great company. Shohreh has also worked with my daughter on her academics. We can credit Shohreh for my daughter learning to write her first and last name, as well as a few short sentences. She constantly comes home excited, sharing new things she has learned during science experiments, art, circle time, and even yoga. We are extremely grateful for the preparation that our daughter has received at Sunshine Daycare and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a daycare where there is a lot of heart.

I love this daycare! My son has been here a couple months, and he has learned so much and gotten so much more intelligent since being here! She treats you and your child like family. My son is so relaxed and reaches for her every day when I drop him off, which has been such a relief going back to work since I've had him. Highly recommend.
