Knowing that I was going up against a dysfunctional bureaucracy, I contacted Megan right out of the gate. I knew the hassle involved of dealing with a government agency and quite frankly, I wasn't up for it given the fact that managing my illness was already a full-time job. Megan was a saint, through and through. She preformed a brilliant job on my appeal, which like it or not, everyone is likely to face as SS seem to deny each application the first go around. I can't recommend WCDLC enough. Megan was such a positive force during a really trying period and it felt like I had a friend at bat for my interests.

Has SSA turned you down ??? That's how they roll, deny, deny, deny...I recently had the pleasure of working with Megan from West Coast Disability Legal Center and I feel so lucky to have found her. After two and a quarter years of the SSA telling me I was not disabled, Megan helped me get through my final appeal hearing, to finally get the past due monies and a monthly payment that I was definitely qualified for. Every time we spoke on the phone, Megan was very helpful, never made me feel like she was rushing me and always had answers to my many questions.The best part of working with Megan from West Coast Disability Legal Center was that she only takes the cases she feels like she can win and WIN she does.
