Jose and the team at Premiere Cottages have done an excellent job of taking care of my elderly father. During a time of incredible uncertainty with COVID-19, they have put our minds at ease with his care. His caretakers are best in class. They are kind, compassionate, and very informative. I would never move him from this facility. An added bonus when worrying about larger facilities, is the 6 patient maximum at Vernon Cottage. This allows for more personal care and less exposure to the outside elements, that we are all worried about during today's environment. This is an incredible place to consider when making the decision to choose a long term care provider. I highly recommend!!

My mother has lived at Vernon Cottage since March 2018.  Throughout these years she has always been very well taken care of.  From knowing what food she prefers, to giving her a hug, to the gentle words of encouragement, to our Easter egg hunt last year, to painting her finger nails.  :)   Although she can no longer speak due to a stroke she understands what is being said and feels the love and care of the caregivers, especially Wel and Nap.  I always visited my mother at Vernon Cottage several times every week and saw first hand the personalized care my mother was receiving in a small, home like atmosphere.  Just perfect for us!  Now during these difficult  times when we can no longer visit due to the COVID-19 virus, Jose and Elsa are finding ways for me to FaceTime with my mother and the staff help my mother with phone calls, just letting her hear my voice saying that I love her.  We are thankful that we found such a wonderful home for my sweet Mama.

My mother has been a resident at Vernon Cottage for the last several months. I cannot say enough good things about the management and staff and the care that my mom has received! I love the small home setting of this facility, as well as the very personal care my mom receives. She has advanced Alzheimer's and needs a lot of attention. Due to the small size of this home and the  incredibly kind and compassionate caregivers, I feel very comforted that my mom is there.  It is never easy to find a place for your loved one in these circumstances. However, even in these trying times, I feel confident that my mom is not only well fed, kept clean and comfortable, but that she is encouraged, talked to and cheered up.  It is also an affordable option compared to most other similar facilities.  Jose and his staff are caring and professional, and have given our family so much peace of mind.
