H&R Block

We've been going here for over 20 years. Up until this year, we've had stellar service, all due to Teri Nigh. However, she is now back east, and there is no way I'll set foot in this office again. For the past three years, the rudeness of the people at the front desk has increased beyond what I'm willing to tolerate, and this year was the last straw. I get that they're stressed out trying to make deadlines, but that doesn't give them the right to act like they're doing us a favor. Newsflash: there are other places that do it as well or better, charge less, and aren't excessively rude. My business is now elsewhere, as seems to be the trend based on the most recent reviews.

I use to like doing my taxes at HR block. However, my experience at this location was totally unprofessional!! A lady did my taxes for 2022. Paid my fee. Nothing happened. Irs did not receive it. Turns out the lady quit that's why she didn't receive my many voicemails. Got the run around from many employees and finally weeks turned into months. Then I got to speak with the manger. Told me to stop by for my refund which I did. I was seen by another employee (which I think Diane is great) paid my 195.00 only receiving 75.00 off for their mistake. Then I was told by management I would receive my original refund of 270.00 on what ever method I choose. The poor guy at the front spoke to the manager and was the middle man for what should have been directly from management to their client! So the middle man said that management said the refund would be coming through to my email. Which was NEVER spoken of while on the phone talking to her. Very upset ex customer!!! This email better be sent for my refund! Learning to do my own taxes.
