My experience was very bad this year. My appointment was scheduled on 03/19/22 at 11 am In Walmart (Livermore, CA). I arrived on time for my appointment. At 10:30 am (30 minutes before my appointment time), I received message instructing me to text 1 when I arrive, which I did. No one was in HJ tax return booth. I waited for 1 hour and no one showed up. I called HJ phone 1-800- and was given phone number of assistant of district manager Christina. Talking to her was no help at all, because she has no clue who was supposed to be at the HJ for scheduled appointment. Basically my whole Saturday was screwed up. Later that day I received phone call from HJ tax preparer , telling me to call her back and reschedule appointment. Which I did. New appointment was rescheduled on Sunday 03/20/22 at 12 pm. Again I was on time for my appointment to see again that no HJ tax preparer there. I waited for almost 30 minutes when tax preparer finally showed up being late for 30 minutes. I had simplest tax return, only one W2 from my employer. It took for tax preparer almost 2 hours to do my tax return. When I tried to call Christina on following Monday 03/21/22 to complain, she simply hung up on me and then not answering my phone calls and not responding to my voicemail message asking to call me back . Will I do tax return with HJ in future??? Of course not, after this terrible experience
