H&R Block

I have been with H&R nine years in another state. I moved back to CA and went to the Livermore location on Stanley Blvd. Do not go here! Highly unprofessional, they randomly changed my tax preparer to someone else, and they randomly changed me to someone else! My documents went a through three sets of hands which led to losing one of my tax forms! I called and asked for the manager and was told she was busy. She ended up calling me on Sunday offering me a discount. Lol No thanks! I have to request another copy of my tax form and hope I get it before April 15th! Do not go here! I never had a problem with H&R until this office!!!

I am a big fan of HR Block and in particular Bill. I won't go into my negative experiences with HR Block's Advisers, James Settle, as that is a matter of record at HR Block as a formal complaint against Mr. Settle that I made earlier. Bill gives HR Block a good name, he is thorough, accurate, timely and he likes to communicate. Everything all of us taxpayers expect.

After years of using the same preparer, I had to file later, and she wasn't available. The preparer that "helped" me this time was awful. I had an appointment in April close to the filing deadline. I needed more time to gather my paperwork, so I went online and was able to reschedule my appointment. After I confirmed the new appointment, I canceled the previous one. Shortly after that, I was notified by phone that the system had allowed me to make a non-existent appointment and that there were no more appointments available before the deadline. So, I had to file extensions.
