This company is DANGEROUS! The INR testing system they sell can mean life or death for many patients (including me), yet they offer ZERO customer service. You phone in and get a convoluted phone tree that never leads to a real person and provides no answers to individual problems with their system (of which there are many). My doctor's office can't reach them either. Their app doesn't work. They do not offer live chat or an email address. Their website brags about their great customer support and is full of (probably fake) stats showing that clients love them but the internet is full of negative reviews. I plan to report them to the Food and Drug Administration and to the Medicare fraud line before their incompetence and negligence kills someone.

Acelis deserves ZERO stars. They simply have (at best) a skeletal customer service structure, whatever the barest minimum is. They essentially have a completely automated system, and phone trees that are so byzantine & convoluted, it's impossible to reach a real human being. I'm not complaining about long hold times; I'm complaining that you can't reach a live agent. If your query is simple, and the one of the options on their phone tree (and its sub-trees) covers it, then you're in luck. If it isn't, woe to you. Reaching a live agent doesn't happen I'd like to add, you can see this from their app (which their pre-recorded phone tree keeps telling you to use). There is no way to pose a question through their app. None. Whatsoever. Zero. They don't take questions through the app because they don't have staff to respond. They don't even have an AI chatbot, which since they hate paying humans a salary, one might think they'd have. How can any business that can't afford to staff their business call itself a viable business? This I don't understand. If you have any option other than Acelis, take it. Hint to potential competitors: the field is ripe for a competitor on the scene

Frustrating experience. Impossible to reach them via customer service phone number when you have an issue. They seem to have no issues billing me and accepting my $150 every month.

I agree with all the haters on this review site. I started with Alere and it was so easy. At first with Acelis it was still ok but I never had to talk to anyone. However, today the last of my husband's strips failed so since my meter had the same chip number I used one of my strips in his meter. Got results. Used a second strip for my own check and got results. However, when I went online to repost our results, and order new strips, I was refused strips for both of us!. We have always had great service and supplies online quickly.. After reading all the negative reviews and failing through 3 attempts to reach a person, I am worried about the future of use on this meter system. We test every 2 weeks so I wonder how this will turn out?? Acelis! Fix this asap!!!
