Really a nightmare to deal with Chicago Title: Janet Clay was my escrow point of contact.
She handled the transaction in a super unprofessional manner. Janet's team made mistakes in paperwork left and right- with little to no communication with us and other involved parties. The closing got delayed, and Janet's team hardly cared about any delays on inconveniences it caused.
I am never working with them again in future.

Disappointed with my recent transaction 1- they do not communicate their SLAs in clear, 2-blame county for delays where as it's clearly their fault,will not recommend to choose them ,shop around I am sure there are better and professional companies out there to give you peace of mind.

Let me just say that Lara is awesome! Chicago title handled our purchase for the new house we just bought and I am extremely happy with her. She promptly sent us a greetings email, explaining what we could expect and encouraging us to reach out to her with any questions. After the escrow closed and we signed our docs, Lara stayed late to finish our documents and then went to Fed Ex the same evening to mail them, so we could close on time and get our keys as fast as possible. I highly recommend this company and Lara Wood.

I came into Chicago Title today to drop off a check for a transaction in a tight timeline.  Alex helped me beyond belief.  I came in around 3:00 pm to drop off 2 checks, she took them in and got them to where I needed to go so our deal could keep it's timeline.Then I had to comeback and drop off a 2nd check too.  They were able to process this one before 5:00 pm as well and get it sent in.  While there both times, Alex and the rest of the staff checked on me multiple times to make sure I was helped and that was nice.  Usually when you go to places of business now, you can sit there for a long time before someone even greets you, and most of the time you have to go up to them to check on what you're there for.  I recommend Chicago Title for escrow/title purposes for any agent in the area looking.
