I highly value a holistic approach to health issues and his office offers just that! Dr. Varmin took so much care in my issue and didn't dismiss me. She offered several types of treatment options as well as some next steps moving forward. You can tell that she is very knowledgeable and an expertise in her field. I'm very thankful for the care I received and for finding this dermatology practice!

Im new to California. This was my first visit and Dr. Varmin was some amazing. She was attentive, thorough, and very sweet. Her front desk and nurse were really nice as well. I would recommend her and her team to anyone looking a dermatologist.

After experiencing unsuccessful treatment with another local dermatologist, I found Shine Functional Dermatology. Dr. Katie Varman is outstanding. She not only addressed the issue, but she also provided a wellness plan for prevention. Dr. Varman is extremely methodical in her treatment, making certain the underlying causes and issues are addressed first. Once we had a handle on that, the plan was to reduce the keloids through corticosteroid shots. After a couple of treatments, the difference is quite noticeable. She explains everything clearly and her entire staff is transparent in the cost of services and wellness plan recommendations.
