Los Alamos Campground

I had a delightful time here. It's a bit on the smaller side from what I could see while I was there, but that only meant that you had a relatively quiet camping experience. It was quiet. It was beautiful and it was far enough away from civilization that the starry night sky was just breathtaking.
I'll say it's fairly clean compared to some of the campgrounds I've seen in the past and I think that the folks that run the campground must clean it a lot because it doesn't have a lot of the typical litter you see at campgrounds from partying teenagers.
I would be fairly careful here and ensure that you and your children wear shoes. This is because it looks like people will burn wood palettes as firewood and so you can find rusty nails and staples on the ground. As long as you're not going barefoot it's probably not going to be a problem but just watch out.
Restrooms: The restrooms were kept fairly clean and are not a very far walk from any of the campgrounds.
