It's owned by a new owner now When in there for an oil change I say they did a pretty good job they did give you a receipt he was really Friendly.

i brought my car to Ric'z Transmission and Muffler Shop after being ripped off by another mechanic for $400. I explained this to Rick when I left my car with him. I did not know he was a sleazebag of the highest order and a straight up thief. I thought he might understand the hardship this had already caused me and wouldn't rip me off, again. Well. I was wrong. As soon as he found out the car was not registered to me yet, he knew he could steal my car by putting a lien on it.So, he told me I had a perfectly round hole in my oil pan. he quoted me $900 to fix it. I talked him down to $550. I said everyone else said $300, but he said he could charge whatever he liked. I owed him $120 just for looking at it. That was supposed to come off if I got it fixed there, but it didn't.Long story short, I ended up in the hospital a few weeks later and I got a call telling me there was a lien on it. I asked him , didn't he have to wait 30 days? He said, "no I can put the lien on it as soon as I like".I was beginning to notice a theme.When I got out of hospital I went there only to hear I owed him $900 , the original price he quoted me ...again, for a hole in my oil pan.So, he stole my car from me with a lien and because it was not registered to me, I couldn't even fight to keep it. THAT CAR WAS ALL I HAD.

Called to ask about a break and light inspection. The answer to my question from the worker was "we would be able to do it but I don't have the certificates right now". My follow up question then was "what does that mean? Would I be able to still get the inspection and turn it into the DMV?" The answer to that question was very short-handed and rude with no real explanation "that means I don't have the certificates right now"(with an attitude mind you). If you don't have the certificates I'm too assume you can't do the inspection. Just state: no you can't do the inspection

Fair price. Honest mechanic. No surprises. Went out of his way to help me where he could and if he couldn't help me gave me a referral. Great experience.
