Since last 2 years I have been dealing with severe knee pain and have been taking cortisone shots every six month. I also underwent meniscus surgery at Stanford last year. All these treatments have not resolved the issue and the pain has been a constant in my life limiting physical activities that I could do earlier. Last month I was visiting Irvine and met Dr. Deepak at one of the events I was attending. He recommended that I visit his clinic on the weekend for a complementary evaluation and try acupuncture. I am not a big fan of alternative medicine but wanted to give it a shot. Dr. Deepak was kind enough to open his clinic on Sunday afternoon so that I could see him before driving back home. He went out of his way to make arrangement and take time out of his personal day off which speaks volumes about his caring nature and concern for those in pain.He administered acupuncture treatment for 45 mins and the pain reduced significantly right away. It has been over four weeks and my knee is better and I plan to see an acupuncturist in the bay area next week and continue treatment. I also plan to visit Dr. Deepak's clinic next time I am in the LA area. I highly recommend Dr Deepak as he is an excellent acupuncturist and compassionate doctor.  He cares about his patients well being and follows up to check up on them. Thank you, Dr. Deepak!!
