Neck & Back Medical Center

I highly recommend Neck and Back Medical Center. They have helped me tremendously with my neck and shoulder pain, as well as my headaches. Everyone there, from the management to the front desk to the therapists are caring, knowledgeable and professional. The medical doctor, chiropractor and physical therapist develop a customized program for each patient using their state of the art computerized equipment. As they say no drugs, no surgery. After trying a variety of other treatments I can say this is the best!

This place is the best Physical Therapy that I've ever been! All members are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Front desk kudos as well for being so nice. Best experience ever! I would dearly recommend to anyone in need of physical therapy!

Caring doctors and staff. Dr. Gould and all the staff are amazing. My pain level went down and my range of motion improved significantly. I highly recommend this center.

I've been seeing Dr Sklar for Prolotherapy Injection treatments (referral from Dr. Erica Scott of Healing Integrations, a Physical Therapist in Costa Mesa). This is a more "natural" muscle + joint pain relief and healing injection using Dextrose, Saline, and Anthestic, a longer term alternative compared to the short term cortisone shot. Apparently these shots in most places that have them can cost half a thousand total dollars, depending on how many you get a session. Thankfully Dr. Sklar is quite nice and offers a flat fee of around $220 per session, and he will happily do shots in 12-18 areas depending on what he think you need. Sadly these injections are NOT covered by insurance but that's universal. The shots have been a bit helpful in somewhat long term pain relief but some areas require 2-3 shots that are particularly inflamed. For example my mid back and hips have required 3 shots. And I still need to go my physical therapist Erica Scott. That said generally I've had positive experiences with the front office and Dr Sklar himself personality wise.
