Orange County Ear, Nose and Throat Associates

Had painful debilitating right ear ache for several days, where I avoided all movement and could not sleep at nite because of the pressures & tenderness. I went to see OC ENT in Laguna Woods for some relief, yet, receptionist could not have given a care in the world about my pain saying “we have no openings today” and when i asked if anyone might take 5 minutes just to look, she said “everyone is busy, we have no openings today. Her indifference to my pain became more obvious when she next said “our next available opening is Jan. 11th”. I just walked out after saying there was no way I could wait that long. Whatever happened to saying things like “I’ll tell the doctors and see if they can do something”, “yes, there may be a cancelation, an appointment may end early or patient may arrive late, so we can possibly fit you in if you do not mind waiting” ? So do not come to this facility unless you have a manageable issue dealt with through appointments !

Had a really bad experience and hope to help others not have the same. Dr. Paul Sun was aggressive in removing my ear wax, so much so that he pulled some skin off my inner ear. Then he went on to tell me that I did this to myself by using Qtips (which may be true but not kindly delivered after having caused great pain). When I asked him if my ear was bleeding, his response was, "When you peel off skin it's going to bleed." With the aggressive treatment and lack of manners, I will not be returning to see this doctor.

Professional, Comprehensive, and Compassionate. Dr. Yian is a pleasure to work with, discussed my hearing loss issues. He went through a comprehensive examination and gave me a full explanation. Cynthia at the front desk was friendly, personal, and genuinely concerned. Cynthia handled the entire referral process for auditology examination from start to finish. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you! OCENTA I can hear again!

Dr Sun did my surgery. Had a short recovery time, very little pain, and better than expected results.

I won't recommend a doctor who doesn't care about his patients at all. Extremely disrespectful!! They reschedule my appointment twice and on the third appointment, I was stuck on the 405 heavy traffic and called them to let them know that I might me 5 to 10 minutes late (according to my google map). The doctor easily said that he won't accept late patients! I was on the traffic for an hour and half just for this appointment and they canceled for being late for 5 minutes.
