Dr Nia is an amazing acupuncturist, healer and overall holistic practitioner. I was skeptical about eastern medicine, especially with my background in pharmaceutical research. But she has truly made me a believer. I turn to her for almost everything: depression, headaches, anxiety, neck pain, knee pain, back pain, nervous eye twitching, sciatica, allergies, neuralgia, insomnia, lack of energy, overall balance and health and that’s just me. My son suffered from Crohn’s disease and lower back pain from a bulging disc. When deciding whether to go through a western medicine regimen of biologics, we chose the holistic approach and he no longer suffers from pain, nausea or GI distress (without any Rx treatments). Now we rarely turn to prescriptions if we can avoid it. I am no longer on antidepressants, anti-anxiety or pain meds, but instead enjoy oils, beach therapy, and herbals to balance my life. She brings so much zen to my world, I truly enjoy my treatments and outcome. I’m a patient for 7 years and counting.
