Went into South Coast Dentistry and the office was warm and inviting. Met with Dr Maliki for an Invisalign evaluation and he explained my treatment, hes so knowledgeable and even told me he knew I grind my teeth and possible snore. Crazy he knew that by looking at my teeth and mouth. Hes funny and made me feel like family! Also Ms Nilou was so nice and made me laugh as she coordinated my treatment. Definitely would recommend coming here :)

Id like to warn anyone thinking of working at this establishment. I did a working interview with an agreement for $36/hr. After 6.25 hrs, I decided the culture wasnt for me, and let them know I would not be returning. I requested they pay me on that day, but they insisted they would mail it to me *on that day* . I naively agreed. A week later, when the check still hadnt arrived, I called them. They reassured me accounting had mailed it, and to keep waiting for it. A week after that, I still had not received it. They then said they would 1099 me (even tho there was a cash agreement, which is perfectly legal and encouraged for working interviews). I was deceived. I didnt want to fight it, so I agreed. Next thing I know, they said they would mail a check for $156 dollars! I was blown away!! I asked why it was so low, the office manager (Niloo) lied through her teeth claiming that her and the Dr. Maleki both mentioned the work interview would be $25, which is a total lie! I would have never agreed to such a low amount, its not worth my time!! I threatened to report them to the board of Dentistry, and they decided to ignore all my messages. Their behavior leads me to think theyve done this numerous times to other people, because this is a total scam and highly unethical, and very illegal. Please everyone, be careful of them. (PS, I still have not been paid)

I have been with South Coast Dentistry for over ten years. Shima and Dr. Maleki have always been great in person and service over the years. I was really lucky to find them.
