        We had a water leak in our garage. Since McKeown had just replaced our water heater, we assumed that was the problem. Within about half an hour, your plumber was out. He diagnosed the problem as our water softener, normally handled by the softener company and fixed it. The cost was extremely fair and quick.

        Called about a leaky hot water faucet. Plumber came out, stripped the cartridge and failed to get it out, recommended replacing the entire faucet, charged my wife $145. I came home, called to ask them to come back . They were non responsive. So, I unscrewed the faucet and put the valve into a vise, unscrewed and replaced the cartridge. Works great. Took 20 minutes. I am not a plumber. Reach your own conclusions. Btw, it is not "corroded." It is 7 years old and discolored/tarnished. The damage you see was done by McKeown using the wrong type of wrench and failing to remove the valve and put it in a vise. There is zero damage to the fitting and no risk of failure. Take responsibly. Don't lie.

        A guy came out to look at a toilet, took photos, suggested a repair method (which is considered bad practice, and which caused the current issue) and left promising a quote by email - that never came. Fake plumbers.

      Thank you for the feedback. McKeown Plumbing does more than 4,200 service calls a year nearly all from repeat customers or referrals from our customers. We arrived and attempted to remove the faucet parts using standard tools, methods and torques. As the photos show the parts are corroded. We recommended replacing the faucet not because of the difficulty of removing and replacing parts. The risk of the repair (including being able to clean off the corrosion) or having the parts break because the parts are corroded and frozen in place requiring excess force to take apart. If the parts break or the repair does not work due to poor the poor conditions/interfaces that exist between the corroded old faucet and the new fittings failed, McKeown would be held responsible. The risk of failure is significant. Please note that in our 50 plus years of experience putting new parts into corroded or failing systems often does not meet expectations and thus is not aligned with our quality requirements.

Our new technician created 2 quotes/estimates for two different options. The estimates were sent into the review process and were never sent to you.
