I made an appointment via phone, went in and the girl there basically told me there was no one there to do it, saw that I was blocked on the calendar and called her manager but she seemed confused and wouldnt just straight answer me if they had someone to do the service, so I finally left. I had a text confirming my appointment, was on their calendar and had taken off from work for this, so was quite disappointed with this level of service.

I asked for a blowout, like the 90's kind, especially on layered hair. The stylist blow dried my hair, then went in with a curling iron. This is not the proper techique for a blowout. ( This is basically half-a**ing a blowout). You're supposed to go in with a dryer and roundbrush.She then curled my hair and gave me beach waves. She also added this mattifying powder, ( I did not request), which make my thick wavy hair very dry and not shiny. I was OK with this service, but done very poorly and not the typical way.

BEWARE OF BOOKING HERE! My appointment was actually supposed to be with another hairstylist. So, I ended up not receiving services with her. I was not notified of that change. That should've been my first red flag. My appointment was 4pm & I had booked For a glam blow out with velcro rollers for my bridal celebration. Upon arrival, I wasnt greeted, & the entire salon was a ghost town, with no music on, I literally thought there was nobody there & I must've booked the wrong location? I checked my phone & it was the correct location. I had to say "hello is anybody here? " several times, until a stylist rushingly came from the back & said "can you just sit down wait be with you in moment" I said, "OK" then waited in the empty lobby. She then yelled from the back of the salon asking to come to her so she can wash my hair. So I went to the back, when she said "OK you can sit there" Where she pointed was a chair that was covered in hair, hair color, shampoo bowl had hair In the drain trap & chair was completely wet! I asked her if there was something she or I could wipe the chair down with because I didn't want to sit in the hair color/ grimy bowl/chair ect and she said, frustrated "why can't you just sit?" I then said I didn't want to sit in haircolor when I had a WHITE SHIRT on.She didnt give me a cape or any kind of draping all I had was a measly towel to protect only my neck. I booked here because they stated they exclusively use Kevin Murphy. Kevin Murphy is my fav product, so I expected it to be used. As she started washing my hair, I asked if she could use Kevin Murphy Hydrate as it was on the back bar & she said "no no I'll use this you know I'm going to use this product instead you'll like much better" So I asked again politely "I would appreciate it if you could use the Kevin Murphy Hydrate please? That is the product I really love & it works for my hair?" She continued to just wash my hair with Matrix instead & completely ignored my request. After a VERY rough & aggressive wash on my poor scalp, (which left several scrapes & was very sore a day or so after) she threw the towel over my head & said "you can go sit down I'll be with you soon, This client more important." At this point I should've just walked out but I had already gone with the shampoo process unfortunately. It has now been well over 45 ish min. & my shirt is fully soaked, & to top it off my hair is red so my beautiful white shirt was completely stained & ruined. Note: I do not live in town & I live 3 hours away. So I had to throw away my shirt & go buy a brand new one after the appointment!!! My appointment was at 4:00, I sat in the chair for 45 to 50 minutes with sopping wet hair, while she finished her (more important client). Finally my appointment is continuing with the blow out at 4:50. She asks what products I wanted & I pointed out my fav volume ones, she then used all straightening products instead??!! As stated before I did ask for a (glam event blow out with velcro rollers): this service usually includes: a good wash, round brush blow out & style w/ volumizing products then styled in foam rollers to hold a beautiful bouncy shape. I have very fine hair, that is why I asked for this service specifically.While applying the wrong products in my hair she complained the entire time about how she hated working their, her job, her clients, that she's not retired yet, she even told me the client she just did SHE didn't have the color for & pretended that it was the client's fault not hers!! She did not even detangle, brush out, Or even section my hair! she just started in with sharp round brushes & started pulling/ dragging my hair with the blow dryer. I now have multiple areas of my hair where there is lots of breakage from the brush, & tiny scraps from the dragging across my scalp. After the horrible & extremely painful blow dryShe then asked how I would like my hair curled, because of how she did the rest of the service I didn't want her damaging my hair further. I told her no to curls & she completely ignored me AGAIN! & started to curl my hair Even though I repeated politely " it's OK you don't need to curl my hair," she said " no no I need to do this the shows all of my work please let me finish" I said "OK, but I really need to go because I need to go buy another shirt," she then stated that my red stained white shirt for my bridal celeb. looked fine and that I was over reacting!! I ended up, leaving the salon with a hairspray, encrusted Birdsnest in the back of my hair, with scalp scrapes and curling iron burns.
