Burgeoning Architects

Mauricio and Wei at Burgeoning are rock stars! Once we talked, they proposed an indoor/outdoor bar with 2 wine fridges, and I was sold (lol)! Even better, they gave us an incredible kitchen layout and lots of natural light. Our kitchen/living room/dining room/bathroom remodel upgraded us to an outstanding current look. During the pandemic, they sent us links to online drawings, document signing, billing, zoom calls, etc and everything worked on the first try. (Im sure theyd do hard copies if you want.) Most of all, they are down-to-earth good people who know their stuff and are fun to work with!

Burgeoning Architecture did a fabulous design for a major remodel of half of our 1964 house in Sunland. The cost was clear upfront. For a fixed base amount, we received drawings for permitting and contractor bids. They gave us 3 options and a bunch of style images as a starting point for discussion. Everything was modelled in 3d, and they sent us pictorial renderings so we knew what we were getting. They made many changes at our request to get just what we wanted. Mauricio spent half a day crawling around our house taking measurements, and when we ran into permitting delays, he helped expedite city approval. He offered recommendations for contractors and specialty designers. The design is the perfect mix of a good functional use of space with an artistic eye to proportion and visual appeal. We cannot recommend Burgeoning highly enough!
