Terrible experience. She makes you feel horrible. Went twice and left depressed. She mistreats you, telling horrible things about your weakness. No word of support. Asked for an absurd amount of exams, even a genetic map, which proved unnecessary and cost me a fortune. Dropped me as a patient for no reason and didn't say anything. Found out when I needed a new prescription. Now I ran out of medication because she refuses to see me. I think that is because I'm Latin. The assistant is even worse. Rude and incompetent.

I am so relieved to have found Dr Ashby. She is thorough, meticulous, honest and an excellent diagnostician. She immediately ran a wide range of tests to pinpoint the cause of my symptoms, instead of the trial and error approach I had been subjected to with my previous primary care providers. She immediately identified a long-standing undiagnosed issue, and was immensely helpful in ensuring that treatment was cost effective. Her advice is straightforward and does not waste time, and is focused on ensuring you are in the best of health, rather than struggling with things that should have been treated.

My wife and I have been with Dr. Ashby for many years, and have found her to be an outstanding doctor and diagnostician. After weeks of sleuthing, she correctly diagnosed and confirmed via test a relatively rare, ultimately addressable liver condition in my wife. She is holistic, objective, practical, hyper-credentialed, engaged and supportive. Importantly, whenever possible she favors less medically invasive approaches, e.g. try exercise and improved diet before statins. Yes, if she has an opinion she won't mince her words, but I don't want sugar-coating from a doctor; I want facts, options and recommendations. She provides all three. Oh yes - she has a sense of humor, which can help take the edge off of any medical visit.

Terrible experience from pompous & dismissive bedside manner to questionable clinical assessment skills which resulted in a missed diagnosis and hospitalization. To top it off she refused to cooperate with the hospital with home health care orders, which is a primary MD's responsibility. So much happier with our current primary care doctor!
