Vicky is the best hair artist and a genuinely sweet person. Ive been going to her for years (while she was at another La Verne location) but I followed her here because shes too good to lose. Love the way she layers my hair to add volume to my thin locks; I get so many compliments on my hair all the time. I was looking to donate my insanely long COVID hair and get a new look. Luckily enough Yelp pointed me in the right direction to this salon. I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to walk in to get some advice on what to do with my hair and that's when I first met Armina. She was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. She talked me through a ton of different options, showed me examples of her work and reassured me that she could create the look I was looking for. I felt at ease with her and confident she would do a great job, so I booked her next available appointment. I came back the next day ready for a full-on makeover. The salon has a nice ambiance, with good music, kinda quiet, and relaxing. When I arrived for my appointment, Armina was easy for me. I took a seat and she prepped my hair for the donation--12 inches! She gave it to me in a perfect, tight braid, which will ship well to the nonprofit. Next, she looked through her book of hair colors and brought back several suggestions based on our conversation. She nailed it. I relaxed as she thoroughly colored my, now short, blonde hair to a dark chestnut brown and bumped my eyebrows. After the rich hue soaked in, she washed it and transformed my locks into a fun, maybe slightly edgy, angular cut. She did an amazing job. I feel like I should go buy a lotto ticket with this luck. She really listened and then knew exactly how to create the look I could hardly communicate. I love it and if you're in the area, I would recommend the salon and Armina to anyone.
